Our Vision is to practice Bengali/Indian Culture and help people to settle in Berlin or Germany
We registered in June 2020....
IGNITE Berlin has grown over the last few months from a small group comprising a handful of families to a large community dedicated to preserving our heritage and promoting the assimilation of our members into Berlin’s multicultural and multiracial society.
IGNITE is a non-profit organization whose main objective is to promote Bengali Culture and tradition including teaching principles of social inclusion and shared tradition to increase Indian cultural awareness and diversity in Berlin
IGNITE always believes that giving is a powerful pathway to personal growth and lasting happiness. Helping others is the secret to living a life that is not only happier but also meaningful. So why to wait, come, lets build it together.
OUR JOURNEY
Ignite e.V. registered in Berlin. We started our journey with 18 members.
Non-profit status attained. We also conducted the first election to elect a new core team.
Ignite registers its 100th member.
Screened Bengali movies for the first time in Berlin.

We are Growing
Our organisation came into being on August 9th,2020, with a membership of 9 families, when the Government of Germany approved our constitution. More Bengali families arrived to build a home on this ‘Little Red Dot’. Today, we have over 100+ member from all walks of life, living, studying, working and contributing to nation-building in Berlin. IGNITE always believes that giving is a powerful pathway to personal growth and lasting happiness. Helping others is the secret to living a life that is not only happier but also meaningful. So why to wait, come, lets build it together.
It Is a Gift
Culture and language are not mere words but the roots of our personality, that not only connects us to our soil but also nurtures us to grow higher and spread our wings.
Regardless of where we live today, practicing our culture and staying close to our roots keep us happy, content, and connected. IGNITE is an effort to create a place to feel like home far from the homeland. IGNITE is a non-profit, non-religious, non-political social organization.
The primary mission is to create a community and platform to practice, spread, and nurture Bengali language and culture; while exchanging and learning from other forms of Indian and German culture. We strive to create beautiful family programs, meetups, cultural events, religious celebrations through and for this community and also provide appropriate help to newcomers to settle down in the city.
