Dear IGNITE Family,
So another year comes to an end. Phew…. What a year it was!!
So many incidents: Covid 19, sickness of so many people, made this year a horrible roller-coaster. The meaning of some words like Isolation, and Quarantine, are felt this year. Staying at home, working from home and not able to see friends and families created uncertainty everywhere. We lost friends, we lost relationships.
To balance out all this negativity there are some positive things obviously. For many of us, one of those is IGNITE. Perhaps the best thing we believe.
We still remember those long running sessions, leaving office early to search for a notary, looking for passionate people who can share the vision. It was something to keep our mental health in place we must say.
It took almost a year to convert the idea to a reality. During this period, we got forty+ valuable minds and six externally passionate friends to give something good back to the society to Bengal and to India. We got a great charity partner Wir-packens-an as well in our venture.
his was only possible because of a great team. Arpita Sarkar, Anirban, Biswajit Banerjee, Chinmoyee Roychowdhury Pal, Debangana Chatterjee, Souravbrata Mondal, your excitement and energy matter to us. You always come up with new ideas, which helped us a lot. Your enthusiasm and vibrant nature helped us to remove all the hindrances faced by IGNITE and to stand tall. Though ‘Thank you’ is a very small word for you, we can only say a big ‘Thank you’ to all of you due to our shortage of vocabulary.
At the end the family of fifty+ we would like to take a bow and say, IGNITE would not be IGNITE without all of you. We pray that may the year 2021 bring to you all that you please. Lots of joy and bundles of good cheer. May your seeds of hard work bloom into an amazing fruit of success. Be healthy and be safe. Let’s build it together, Happy New Year.
